Written by Saksorn Suwattanakulkit, aka Boss

This book, “15 Secrets Successful People Know About Time Management” by Kevin Kruse, is about managing time to improve your life. We all have 24 hours each day, and successful people value every minute because time can't be regained. We often do many tasks but struggle to handle them effectively. As a result, people tend to procrastinate on difficult tasks and rush to complete them by the deadline. Multitasking doesn't finish work faster; it often takes more time. Moreover, constant notifications can distract you and disrupt your focus. This book provides tips to help you avoid unproductive habits.

Your morning routine can shape your day. If you are lazy during the first hour, you may stay lazy for the rest of the day. Engage in activities that allow you to spend time with yourself, such as meditation, reading, or journaling. To-do lists are essential. Research shows that nearly 42% of tasks are left incomplete. The solution is to schedule tasks in a timetable to help ensure they are completed. Be willing to refuse tasks that do not align with your goals. Accepting unrelated tasks means you may have more 'vampire' tasks that drain your time. Muting notifications during work can help you maintain focus and work more effectively.

This book is similar to other time management books, but it helps remind us of key principles through reading. Effective time management requires patience, discipline, and technique. After reading this book, we better understand the value of time. Four thousand weeks may not seem like a lot, especially when some people spend excessive time on social media. Try exploring new activities to gain fresh perspectives. Therefore, invest your time in what matters most; it is the one thing you can never get back. If you are lying in bed, remember to plan for the next day.
